Knit to tell

This was a lovely project to work on. Brainlessly knitting in the round, and the 100% cotton is lovely. I wanted something quick, yet not too ‘see-through’, so I opted to double up the yarn – I love the weight – but not the cost of the project! :p

It is really hard to photograph yourself in the mirror… and oops… time to clean the mirror too! :>

Keeping track

Well, thinking back on the money spent on yarns, fabrics and the time taken working on projects, it is really sad that I have few things to show for.

I prefer to create things for others as I think it is easier to visualize what looks nice on them, and the idea of personalized gifts is always great! And because I’m a last minute type of girl, I end up working in the seams, packaging them, etc just right before I send them off. There’s never a good opportunity for me to take some pictures at all!

Below is one of the belts I made for my girl friends for X’mas 07. Crochet, white linen yarn, and green colours ribbon
yarn for the ties.

Hopefully I will find the discipline to keep a visual trail of my projects from start, through work-in-progress, to the completed state. :>
